Surprise surprise

 
In other worlds, a quick look at the latest Christie’s catalogue shows that their most valuable photographic prints on auction next month and with the highest reserve are not by Stieglitz or Man Ray or Cartier-Bresson or even Ansel Adams.

They’re by Robert Frank.

That’s pretty refreshing to see considering that none of the college students on Jeopardy tonight had a clue in the world who it was that wrote Fritz the Cat.
