And the BPD and City did everything they could to make sure that these kind of acts would never return

So MyBurbank mentioned this the other day…

We’ve written about this before, but the negative political (and racial) reaction to these several great Starlight seasons ended up costing the City of Burbank a couple of million dollars in lawsuit damages.

Since then, Burbank has gone out of its way to gut the place of anything half-way interesting. The word for this — regardless of who’s been put in charge of doing it over the years — is “censorship.”

Burbank started growing up in the early-middle 70s. Then — somehow — the assholes and idiots took over.

“Burbank started growing up in the early-middle 70s. Then — somehow — the assholes and idiots took over.” Sadly, Semi, this happened to most of the US.

High interest rates. Carter was a “pussy” towards the Iranians. 24 hour for-profit, news coverage that immediately started to lionize Reagan. Should I go on?

“America Held Hostage!”, yes. Every night at 11:30. I remember how disgusting that was. And then Carter getting blamed for “gas lines,” even still, when they were FAR worse under Nixon/Ford.

Corporate America wants Republicans in charge.

There were no gas lines until 1974 but remember Carter and his we would run out of oil in 25 years lol what a dunce he was.
