Still trust Republicans?

Anyone who voted for this asshole deserves everything they’re going to get:

Here’s a quick note to those who think that “City Hall” is the big problem in Burbank: It’s not.

It’s the rapacious business class that you need to worry about, most of which is right-wing Republican. You think most developers around here are Hillary or Bernie supporters? Or anywhere?

You’re much more apt to find that with staff. So know thy enemy. The last decent Republican died about 20 years ago.

Of all people, I’m ecstatic that this election has injected stress into your worthless excuse for a life. Enjoy 4 years of eating a dick Jimbo!

You know you’re going to rot in hell don’t you.

I have good instincts about things like this. You’re doomed.

Hmmmmm, who lives his life talking on behalf of others (“I’m ecstatic that this election has injected stress into your….”) so he can create a delusion to vomit out his toxin? And, has a fascination with “eating a dick”? Hmmmm, who could that be…..oh that’s right, KEVIN HARROP!

***Just an FYI… there will finally be updated group posting rules/guidelines posted this evening. They will contain everything from common sense rules of no racist comments and to be respectful to no references (indirect or direct) to specific candidates/campaigns in the upcoming election. Small business advertising posts and cussing will be addressed, as will trolling, stalking and spamming to name a few. The goal is to more clearly identify what is and is not acceptable, in an attempt to make this group the best that it can be with residents and neighbors communicating and helping each other.***

No discussion of the campaign? That goes beyond ridiculous.

But posting snapshots of homeless people is a-ok. Got it.

All campaign talk is welcome here of course. Still.

    • Burbank Bill

The folks on that site get downright nasty with each other. Often over the most innocent things. Like who can reccomend a good plumber, etc. it then devolves into petty and juvenile attacks . The irony is , rarely are there direct attacks on city council. Scott is looking out for dear ol’ dad Jess. Who musta crapped the bed at last weeks meeting.

Hey, “James Carlile Nemesis Club” you know what’s really pathetically disgusting? You wasting your miserable life stalking another. …never ceases to amaze me how the lunatics out themselves. LMAO!

  5. Magnum P.I.

It is interesting that on the campaign trail Trump trashed GoldmanSachs and Heidi Cruz who worked there and now he’s putting Goldman people into the cabinet. Go figure.

“Here’s a quick note to those who think that “City Hall” is the big problem in Burbank: It’s not.” Yes, it is dude. Your precious progressive government is just as guilty as everybody else for wrecking this town and this State for that matter.

I could write a lot more, but it does little or no good here.

    Happy Holidays

Ps. Hey ‘James Carlile Nemesis Club’ go f@ckyourself. You no class SOB.

    • semichorus

No, the problem is business and Big Money. Progressives try to fight this influence every day.

    • Al in SoCal

      Steps to breaking someone:

      1. Trump trashes Goldman Sachs and Heidi Cruz, and not just for her time there but about her looks.

      2. Ted Cruz ranting that he wouldn’t be turned into a “servile puppy dog” and endorse Trump (which I gave credit to Cruz for).

      3. FFW to Cruz being turned into a servile puppy dog and endorsing Trump.

Even GOP buddies who liked Cruz could not believe the turnaround. How can you endorse a man who says degrading things about your wife – and father????

CIA concludes in its assessment that Russian operatives not only influenced the presidential election but worked to sway the result in Trump’s favor. We already knew this but it’s nice to read that bastion of bleeding heart liberals, the CIA, agreed.

    • semichorus

Yes, and Schiff tried to warn the media about this two months ago. He sat in on these classified meetings, apparently.

    • Deploribus Unum

ah yes the SECRET assessment from the CIA, the one no one knows about yet is all over the airwaves, the only secret is how this REAL news got out in public especially since virtually all the sources have been dubbed anonymous, I suppose that makes it tougher to call it fake news.

      • semichorus

        Nice try, right-wingers.

I want to know HOW the Russians interfered. Not just THAT they did. There must be details that aren’t out there yet.

Such as … trying to hack voting machines? Schiff must know.

        • Nan

Face it at the end of the day Hillary was a terrible candidate. Not the fault of the alt right or the Russians. Hillary as the candidate was manipulated by the Democrartic establishment and they alone with flawed Hillary are to blame.

          • semichorus

And Trump was a good candidate? He’s a delusional moron.

Hillary was a great candidate ganged up on by the corporate media. For 30 years it’s been known as “Clinton Derangement Syndrome.” Business also favors Republicans, so no surprise there. There’s no such thing as a “liberal media.” The GOP always has the first and last word.

Hillary btw won by 3 million votes.

            • Anonymous

Semi: “There’s no such thing as a “liberal media.” The GOP always has the first and last word.”

Oh, I totally disagree….as a news hound I was glued to MSNBC, FOX, HLN, etc. etc. etc. not the mention the BIGGER blog sites NEWSER etc. they all promoted HILLARY in a most editorializing and deceitful way (except for FOX) while down playing and character assassinating the Trump. Please know, I DESPISE the man…but I know what I heard and read and didn’t hear and read.

              • semichorus

                They did no such thing.

It was always “emails, emails!” But when it came to Trump, it was, “Some people though dismiss his claims…”

Or if Trump got caught in some huge and proven lie, it was, “But many people find Hillary to be untrustworthy…”

      • Al in SoCal

Just accept that you gave Vlad the puppet he wanted. All we’re awaiting is his victory tour through the newly purchased US of A.

But, but, The Donald was going to “drain the swamp”!!!

    • Grams

He is draining the swamp. If you listen carefully drain the swamp means an end to the really dumb people who have no knowledge of anything running things in Washington. Do you want Patrick Prescott as secretary of defense ?

      • semichorus

That swamp keeps changing location, doesn’t it.

You don’t know the meaning of the word “disaster” until you see what these crooks and liars are soon going to accomplish.

  8. The Elsernator

Bring back Stacey Jo Murphy and give peace a chance!

  9. Dina

    Let’s start with Burbank.
Telemoron #One went after Bob Frutos for asking for a future Agenda item about $50.ooo of tax money for Measure B.
BAM the moron brought up the Election.
Dr Gordon smacked him down with a Point-of-Order
Now Moron#2 has “new rules”–No Election Posts?
    Must protect Daddy.

    HYPOCRISY AT ITS FINEST:

    EXHIBIT 2:

Jess Talamantes (who is up for re-election)
“City of Burbank” facebook page “DESCRIPTION” quote:

    “ Description
This group has been created to bring together the Facebook community that calls the wonderful city of Burbank, home! The brainchild of Burbank City Councilman Jess Talamantes, this group should serve as a virtual community forum that promotes open communication between residents, provides community news/updates and ultimately establishes one more avenue of bringing our community closer! This modern tool of communication enables everyone from B.U.S.D. students and faculty, to burbank residents and even city officials to exchange ideas, and information in real time. “

Am I missing something here? Or, is this one of the most overt attempts to silence and cover up that you have ever seen attempted, so that a council member running for re-election can control negative comments about himself?

    • semichorus

Of course. Dad doesn’t want the election mentioned when he’s in it.

I love the sharing of “ideas” goal, and “open communication.” Apparently not when you don’t like what’s being said.

It’s not corruption. Just stupidity and shamelessness.

      • 91506

The Burbank swamp needs draining from Telamonty to Fruitos, from Georgino to Hastings and from Rizodi to Harrop. It needs to be drained.

        • semichorus

          That’s quite a combo.

What we need to do is get business out of the mix by electing a bunch of healthy sceptics. Preferably outsiders from non-business backgrounds, like the arts or teaching.

  11. chad

Come to think of it, Rizzotti is not running for council?
