The Halal trucks were parked where?

Amplifying an earlier question from the comments section — and in the spirit of holiday inclusiveness — does anyone know how many Halal food trucks were invited to the recent Magnolia Park festival event?

Not enough I had to wait in line and that’s so not fetch. My boyfriend and I waited like 12 minutes to order.

They were next to the Kosher trucks.

I don’t know, however I think some of these food trucks should be parked around the council members homes and see how they feel when their homes are broken into.

I think the food trucks could park on side streets if they bother some of you people so much just get used to them because many of us want and like them. We can make a deal we won’t get rid of your thrift stores if you shut up about the food trucks.

        Megan,
Who the F— do you think you are?
You’re one of these losers blogging who eats off the
Roach Coaches ? Do you own one or work on one?
So, why don’t you just shut up yourself!
        leave us homeowners alone!

People don’t break into houses because of food trucks. That is insane to think that and it is such a pathetic fear tactic. Where are the studies that show food trucks cause home break ins ??????

Magnolia Park take in your Trump sign out of your yard. You Magnolia Park people are just turkeys so stuck in the past. You are all just not important with your dusty old ideas. Magnolia Park needs a platoon of buldozers to knock it all down so we could build a. new beautiful area to welcome people into Burbank.

Wonderful ideas from folks who don’t have an invested interest in Magnolia Park or it’s businesses.

The buildings are owned, and pay taxes.

The businesses are owned, and pay taxes.

The Roach Coaches are owned, borrowed or otherwise obtained and
        DO NOT PAY Burbank Taxes.

Here now, gone in Four Hours.

Megan and her fellow lovelies can go chase a Roach Coach.

“On Friday Walmart workers will be waking up early to face masses of Black Friday shoppers.

If you work for Walmart — one of the most profitable corporations in the world privately owned by one of the richest families in the world — and get sick, good luck keeping your job.

Right now, if you need to miss a day of work due to illness, even if you have a doctor’s note, there’s nothing stopping a Walmart supervisor from disciplining you — an “occurrence” in corporate Walmart speak. And you could lose your job.

Nobody deserves to lose their job because they get sick. And every worker deserves paid sick days. Walmart workers across North America are asking for six — just six! — paid sick days. Walmart made $132 billion in pure profit last year. I’d say it can afford it.”

Chad – this is what we voted for – and more of it. Trump knowingly used undocumented workers – threatened them with immigration when they complained about working conditions – this is the new America – complain and you’re gone – there is someone to replace you. You are nothing but a one-use tool to be discarded at the end of useful life.

Apparently this is chalked up to “personal responsibility”. A wonderful new world where you simply over the homeless and uninsured to deposit your check into the ATM …

Geri and Chad sadly you just don’t get it. All the bickering and hate ;you people harbor for those who are successfull.

    • Geri

      Dear viewer,

I do not harbor hate. Open your eyes those stores in Magnolia park are dead and are not succesfull at all. If they were succesfull they would not complain about the food trucks. Grow up shoppers are not interested in those stores and for that reason they are failing. I want success so I want those stores gone.

That’s 90% of the crap stores in this town. Some of these places haven’t been painted in 30 years. To many “business corridors” in this town to get one nice place.

Yes – we see the LOVE from the Trump-eters. “The blacks love me” .. (no they really don’t).

We like when people make it financially – but most of us think there should be a minimum set of standards if you are a citizen of the US (see I said citizen – so please don’t go on and on about the undocumented).

I think just the fact you see it as people “hating” you just means you are quite insecure about your success are unable to communicate with others on any reasonable level due to your extreme paranoia.

Not to wade into the local Walmart kurfuffel.. but , I have shopped at Burbank Walmart and the employees I have encountered greet me cordially, dont seem miserable and are helpful in finding stuff. I got $159 worth of groceries ,all national brands, that woulda been twice at Ralph’s ripoff. Sorry, why do the deli dudes and Baggers need to be unionized?? Wasn’t it Mz. Emily who once inquired about ” real butchers”. HER hubby is a big union hack.

    • Al in SoCal

Groceries – but did you buy any clothes (from China), any plastic things (from China) anything OTHER than groceries (from China)?

I ask because Trump’s entire message was anti-Chinese goods. So please note that all those low low prices are going high high higher if his plan is activated – just an FYI.

“A Viewer” I don’t get it? That’s like Trump calling Hillary crooked. It’s called workers’ rights which have been fought for over decades of struggle. Sorry if you can’t see it that way.
