    Where is the grass?

The first one looked like a prison with the slit windows, boring modern architecture, and dull colors. The second one sucks mostly because of the ugly orange stucco and outdated postmodern collumns, but it does a better job with it’s greenery and entrance. The wide entrance, wide sidewalks, and more plentiful trees of the first are inviting, while the boxed entrance, thin sidewalks, and rigidly organized greenery of the second makes you feel unwelcome.

The second one is shit. The grass was replaced by cement and a useless staircase, and the entrance way looks like a portal into a grand bunker, which is quite fitting considering the tenets of modern pedagogy. I think the original design had a nice streamlined approach to it, and there were actually living TREES out in front.

And what’s the deal with the fucking racist Indian now? Even during it’s worst John Birch Society days the BUSD would NEVER have done such a thing. Fuck you too, Burroughs.

There’s no accounting for taste, but there is accounting for getting out of a squirrely hellhole like Burbank. Adios.

further to the right, out of frame in the second there’s a lot of grass and trees. Though I suppose the same is true of the first as well.

Glad to see you’ve moved into summer reruns and taking another run at the mascot and adding in your general attacks of all things BUSD. No personal vendetta, of course. Because if we all knew the true story and weren’t shills and flakes hired by the establishment, you’d be declared a hero. And probably grand marshall of Burbank On Parade.

When do we move onto new airport rants? And you’re last line, are you leaving? Really? Didn’t think so.

The mascot’s racist, many of us have been complaining about it for years, and the BUSD’s “remodel” job was an acknowledged disaster. There’s a proven lack of judgment in this town.

          So go fuck yourself.

Why take out the grass ? Plants must not be sustainable anymore. Guess they removed all threats and made it more sustainable huh.

Cool Indian head logo! Looks good!

Funny how after North Dakota finally changed its mascot name from the Fighting Sioux to the new one, Fighting Hawks, some Native Americans have concerns as there are no references to Native Americans on the new logos. Well, I have always said, we are eliminating Native Americans from being in the view of people by removing Indian mascots and logos. The vocal minority groups who only know how to be victims will complain about anything.

I support the JBHS Indians and have never met a person who has been harmed by the Burroughs mascot. Only the PC crowd supports these changes because ” there could be” a person who has their feeling hurts.

Insulting to who? I see a proud image of an Indian Chief wearing a war bonnet! How is it racist if not insulting?
