There was something for everyone this year from Sister City Burbank. But they had to go with the art.
If you ask me the gun shooting cat should be the art work we send to them. Maybe that cat was sold in a pet store and is now shooting at the people who want to ban the sale of cats and dogs.
I think it was a rescue cat. And yes, by all means, let’s send it abroad to them.

A friend just told me that David Nos is trying to get the appointment to the school board. That should raise alarm bells for anyone who remembers his last stint playing school board member. He was one of the worst board members ever when it came to taking care of the schools. We shouldn’t let him destroy our new buildings like he did our old buildings. He would be a big mistake and a disaster for our schools.
Yes, he was part of that old ‘grateful giggler’ crowd at city hall. The ones who — like David Laurell — were always thanking their staff members for absolutely everything in the world, and having lots of fun and giggles along the way.
Nos though was there when the board was up to some seriously evasive shit, and so I wonder who else wants him back. He was at the tail end of the worst BUSD board experiences we’ve had.
It would be a bone headed move to appoint some “gratefull giggler” to the school board, I remember that Laurel guy he was a total one term joke.
Peculiar scenario playing out by Nos and his supporters???
First claims he wants to be on our City Council, receives warm smiles from Blue Bloods.
Then, claims to desire School Board appointment–but has no “desire” to “run-for-the-job”.
Now, this week, the story goes that he needs the “appointment” for current name I.D. as so many may have forgotten his previous “service” to the community?????
THEN, he’ll express a willingness to serve at golonski’s pleasure.
Isn’t this supposed to be about the Education of the Children and looking out for the Best Interests of the Citizens???
No plan to run tells me a person has no intention of being responsible to the voters of this city. No plan to run, No appointment is my take on that
