In an almost unheard-of announcement tonight (for Burbank), City Attorney Albano revealed that the council has just voted 3-1 in closed session to appeal Bill Taylor’s recent jury verdict against the city.
As everyone knows, Taylor ended up beating them last spring in his long and drawn-out discrimination and retaliation case, and they were obviously not happy about it. But rather than put it all behind them and get on with their lives, Golonski, Bric and Gabel-Luddy still want to keep this misery of theirs going.
Only Dr. Gordon voted against the move; Talamantes was absent. What do you want to bet also that Golonski tried to convince Gordon in closed session that this kind of adversarial legal move was “normal” or “routine”? It may be for Burbank, but it’s not how most other cities behave. Most places would have settled with Taylor long ago.

When that giant hairy attorney fills up the TV screen and announces what the city council voted to do that troll attorney should also announce just how much it will cost us. I bet this bone head move is a big waste of money and it’s money we can’t afford to waste. The city lost so the council should be asking their employees just who has been covering up what has been going down in Burbank.
If Burbank does what it usually does since there is no accountability and voter ballots will be thrown out for sure if Rogers is clerk, they will take it all the way to the supreme court just like they did the prayer thing … and lose.

So what is the coincidence here, Gordon votes against wasting more money on an appeal and now Golonski and his friend the Luggage want to charge people more money who are poor for their housing. Ok so the coincidence is they are charging poor people more money to pay for their stupid appeal of the police case they lost. The Luggage and the Golonski and the Brick are so crooked. In one night those idiots give away an alley and then spend thousands on their appeal and now its charge the poor people more money for rent from the poor and where is that puffer fish ? Selling us out to China and doing it first class at our expense. We got to get these crooks out of city hall.
The Burbank city council should look at the city of Stockton because our council is foolishly spending and giving away just like Stockton did and tonight Stockton is expected to vote to go bankrupt. Golonski is quickly moving Burbank toward bankruptcy and he needs to start listening to Gordon.
WTF gordon just asked the float lady if the puffer fish on the float will sneak in and out and the woman said they are working on it Damn I knew that was the puffer fish float and I wish Gordon had asked if they can stuff that stupid puffer fish on the council and just crazy glue him by the face to their float. IN America really good products sell just like really popular products sell so just why is it that all of this green stuff only sells when government taxes us to buy it and then hands it to people for free:? I am asking this because of what they are saying about solar power. It’s expensive and it’s unreliable and further it is not cost effective so people don’t buy it, in other words its a failure but people like Emily Luddy Gabel love the idea of it so they tax and overcharge people to give it away for free and of course they buy it from China. These products are a great way to destroy America and the American way of life.
Ok so are these people at Burbank Water and Power for real ? An electronic computer screen in our homes that shows ugly commercials from water and power ? I would throw a towel over that thing or smash it with a hammer. Come on people how does Burbank Water and Power get money to pay bills ? They increase our bills so if they spend money on these stupid picture frames to show us commercials and hey maybe they can put pictures of luggage and the puffer fish in pictures on that stupid thing. What do you expect from a council who never believes they or any of their representatives could ever make a mistake or ever do anything wrong ? The mentaility is defend what we do at all cost, and don’t forget they can spend what they want and make the rest of us pay for it.

This major STUPIDITY on their part really comes as NO surprise. Now what needs to happen is that the citizens of Burbank unite and oust these idiots for wasting our taxpayer’s money. NO doubt about it that that backwards thinking will bankrupt our city. How much more of our money do they plan on throwing away in the name of “saving face”., obviously the $1m in atty fee’s for his case alone is not enough for them. Vote them out of office.
Hurry up and fix the Verdugo pool before they steal that money for the Taylor appeal!
